GALEN MEDICAL: THE NEWEST ADDITION TO KEIR SURGICAL LTD.

Keir Surgical Ltd.'s, latest acquisition, Galen Medical Ltd., made its debut with the company on Monday March 1, 2010. Galen Medical is a British Columbia-based neurosurgical products company distributing to hospitals across Canada.

The newly acquired company distributes high speed drill systems used to drill and sculpt the cranium and specializes in brain tumor removal equipment, headlight systems, and head fixation devices to aid in neurosurgical procedures.

"With agents across the country, Galen Medical has carved a niche that we feel fits well with what we do," stated Michael Fish, President of Keir Surgical. "The addition to Keir Surgical enables greater neurosurgical selection to customers under one roof. We will continue serving Galen Medical customers with no interruption to their service as we make this transition."

This is the fourth acquisition by Keir Surgical in the last three years.
