KEIR SURGICAL PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR SURGICAL OUTREACH

Lima, Peru – Keir Surgical is proud to support Project Outreach's inaugural initiative in Peru. Project Outreach is a charitable non-profit society that delivers medical services to impoverished children living in developing countries and promotes self-sufficient medical practices to aid local children with physical disorders.

Project Peru is the society's upcoming initiative in October 2011 that will help children with disabling burn scars live a normal life within their communities. A plastic surgery team will work in collaboration with health care practitioners in Lima to perform reconstructive surgery on children with severe burns/scalding and offer hands-on education to local health care personnel in treating these injuries. The team will also raise public awareness of preventative practices that can decrease burn incidence. Keir Surgical is excited to help make Project Peru a reality by donating $3,500 worth of surgical instruments to the cause. The company looks forward to the life changing outcomes of this project.
