Keir Surgical Makes Donation to Operation Rainbow Canada
October 2008

Vancouver, BC – Keir Surgical Ltd., a Canadian surgical instrument company, recently made a donation of surgical containers to Operation Rainbow Canada, a registered not-for-profit organization based in Vancouver, BC that provides free reconstructive surgery and related health care for cleft lip and cleft palate deformities to children and young adults in developing countries.

“As we are committed to our communities, making a donation to Operation Rainbow was a natural thing for us to do” said Michael Fish, Keir Surgical’s President. “I am glad that we could make this happen.”

“We would like to thank Keir Surgical for its donation of instrument containers to Operation Rainbow” stated a letter from Operation Rainbow to Keir Surgical president, Michael Fish. “This donation will enable Operation Rainbow to transport surgical instruments safely overseas. Prior to this donation, our instruments were getting dull, rusted, and damaged during transport, making it very challenging for the team to perform the surgeries needed.”
