Keir Surgical Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with TGX Medical Systems

Vancouver, BC - Keir Surgical Ltd., a Canadian surgical instrument company, today announced it has entered into an agreement with TGX Medical Systems Inc., a software development firm, to be the exclusive Canadian distributor of TGX Medical's Alex Gold Instrument Tracking System software.

"This represents a serious opportunity for our company. It is a major step forward with respect to being a leading supplier of surgical instrument solutions," said Michael Fish, Keir Surgical's President. "Our partnership with TGX Medical makes good strategic sense. The addition of Alex Gold complements our current product lines perfectly. We now offer a complete suite of surgical instrument-related products."

"The recent news reports focusing on hospitals temporarily shutting down due to infection is a prime example of why hospitals need this kind of system," Fish emphasized. "Not only does the Alex Gold software manage hospital resources resulting in increased efficiency, but it is an important tool in the management of infection control within this environment."

TGX Medical recently won the award for Most Innovative Product by the Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship.

Keir Surgical recently participated at the national Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC) Conference held in Victoria, BC from April 24th to 26th, 2007.
